What to Pack for Your Trip

Whether it’s your first heli-ski trip or your tenth, packing the right gear makes all the difference. Here’s what we provide, and what you’ll want to bring to stay warm, dry, and ready for anything.

What’s Provided

We’ve taken care of the essentials, so you can focus on the fun. Your safety gear and powder-ready setup will be waiting when you arrive:

  • Barryvox Pulse avalanche transceiver
  • Probe and shovel
  • Handheld radio
  • Arcteryx Litric airbag and pack
  • Blizzard Spurs and Rossignol Super7 powder skis or Burton Fish snowboard

You’ll also receive avalanche safety instruction and practice before heading into the mountains.

What You Need to Bring

To stay warm, dry, and ready for anything, pack the following essentials:

  • Ski or snowboard boots (carry-on recommended if flying)
  • Helmet (or a warm hat if not wearing a helmet)
  • Goggles and sunglasses
  • Base layers (Capilene or moisture-wicking fabric)
  • Thermal layers (fleece or wool)
  • Water-resistant jacket and pants (GORE-TEX or similar)
  • Gloves or mitts
  • Ski socks

Layering is the key to comfort in mountain weather! We recommend you bring pieces that help you adapt as the day unfolds.

And don’t forget a cozy pair of slippers for unwinding around the lodge after your ski day!
